My work is an exploration of process. I find inspiration in our natural environment.

Starting with a single photographic image I extract details that are constantly unfolding and changing. I seek endless patterns, rhythm, color and shapes.

I will typically paint the same image several times until it becomes familiar to me. Each series of paintings – although they may reflect the original photographic image – become separate entities related to one another.
